As promised, here’s the first behind the scenes look at our planning for Seaside Sessions 2023. We have our basics: lined notebook (aka the Chicken Keeper—you’ll have to ask Penny about the story behind that name), fountain pen, pencils, Trader Joe’s lemon squares (the best!), “fizzy wine” for me, a lovely Sauvignon Blanc for Penny, and some rosemary nuts for us both. Not shown in this shot is my computer screen with at least 10 tabs open as we discuss various fun aspects of our plan (more on those in future posts), my mechanical pencil with lavender lead (a gift from Penny which I LOVE), and my Peter Pauper Press journal (which doesn’t have a name and was gifted to me by my sister), filled with notes, reminders, and the ever-expanding ‘to do’ list for SS2023. Yes, we did accomplish many things on that list, and we’re looking forward to showing you more soon….
